| The Green World History Rick Morgan, the owner of Green World, grew up in Haverhill Massachusetts. Living and working at the family owned business, Gray & Cole Nursery, he developed a strong sense of the value of both our natural and intentionally landscaped environment. After studying business and art at Northern Essex Community College and a successful year as a real estate salesman he started Morgan Landscaping. Morgan Landscaping provided full commercial and residential landscape design and build services as well as maintenance services. In 1987 Rick and a partner purchased Lawn Medic, a lawn care service franchise, and even through the difficult economic times at the end of the 80's they grew the customer base to over 600 and serviced 28 towns around the Merrimack Valley. In 1997 the Partnership was dissolved amicably so that both parties could pursue their own paths. Rick added lawn and landscape irrigation services under the name Morgan Irrigation Services and has installed over 300 irrigation systems and earned his Irrigation Contractor Certification status though the national Irrigation Association. In 1999 all of the services were brought together under the new name Green World. Green World now provides a full range of horticultural services to both residential and commercial customers in the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire. |
