Our Annual Fertilization program

Early Spring Application

We apply a high quality granular fertilizer to promote faster greening and recovery from winter stresses. Weed control and crabgrass control are applied, weather permitting. We pay special attention to any areas that need repair from winter damage and make recommendations if additional services are needed.

Spring Application

Your lawn needs a full dose of fertilizer at this time to maintain color. We treat any weeds in your lawn. We also inspect for any insect activity and recommend any additional services that could benefit your landscape.

Grub Preventer Application

We will apply a granular systemic grub control that will be stored in the grass plants roots and kill grubs when they start to feed.

Summer Application

Summer conditions can stress your lawn. We apply our summer slow release fertilizer to maintain color without pushing growth.  We will also treat weeds if necessary to prepare it for the summer ahead.

Early Fall Fertilizer Application

Early Fall is the time of year that your lawn wants the most nutrients. Not only does it need to recover from the Summer stresses but it is preparing for the fall growth cycle. We apply  a higher Phosphorus and Potassium fertilizer to your lawn and encourage new root growth. We’ll continue to scout for weed problems and treat as necessary.

Late Fall Fertilizer Application

Our late-fall application contains a special fertilizer with Potasium to promote root growth and food storage important for winter survival.

Chelated Calcium Limestone

We apply pelletized Chelated Calcium Limestone to maintain the soil PH.
This is a deep penetrating and fast acting type of Lime. You get faster results and it even penetrates down to the root zone.
